Inspire Tasks

Thank you for the opportunity to show you how I can help,

Inspire Africa.

Task 1:

Inspire’s Drone Aptitude Course Intro/Outro

This video can be used as an intro/outro for the Drone Aptitude course. The idea is to animate the Inspire Africa logo in a 3D environment so that the concentric rings of the logo revolve. This plays on the themes of rotating drone propellers, as well as the revolution of technology and industry (4IR). The animated drone allows for relevant engagement between the course subject and the brand. Future courses have the potential for similar intros but with other relevant 3D engagements, such as 3D printing the logo or coding robots to assemble the logo. Lastly, nine videos are split-screened together from the course and YouTube channel to briefly showcase some of the content to come. This can be changed depending on the course material.

A second version of the intro was rendered with a background drone to create more action, but ultimately I concluded that the single drone was a cleaner look.

Task 2:

Social media graphics

To showcase the potential of 3D staging, I created a simple social media post with a hovering drone. Text and other graphical elements were added and animated with After Effects.

The use of the 3D stage is very versatile, and the limit for creation is your imagination. 3D demos, infographics, breakdowns, and simulations can be created in the 3D space to increase the quality of content within the course itself, as well as in marketing.

This social media post is a simple static post that can easily be created in multiple layouts and formats to consistently deliver a message that can be emphasized. These types of posts are effective to produce and share when the goal of the post is outlined and clear throughout the design process.
